    Looking for a great new game to put in your pocket this weekend? Papa Pear Saga, King's free-to-play spin on Peggle-style pachinko games, has finally made the jump from Facebook to mobile. The game is now available on iTunes and Google Play. If you need more reason to check it out than that, be sure to check out our four star review from this past April.Papa Pear follows King's tradition of Saga games that are finetuned on Facebook before making the jump to mobile. Candy Crush Saga, Pet Rescue Saga, and Bubble Witch Saga have all gone the same route. If you're a fan of their other games, it seems like it's only a matter of time until Farm Heroes Saga and the recently released Pepper Panic Saga follow suit.Now if you'll excuse me, I have some acorn-shaped pegs to bounce off of.

    Disease is a pretty prevalent theme in entertainment. Whether we're talking about books, movies or games, there always seems to be some sort of world-ending plague right around the corner (and in the case of The Walking Dead, we can do all three: read, watch, and play!)The makers of Plague Inc., a top notch mobile game with the sort of viral success that its subject matter could only dream of, recently took to the stage at Nine Worlds Geekfest in London. They were joined by a group of scientists, and together they partook in a discussion on why the subject of disease is so popular in video games, movies, and more. It's a fascinating watch - especially if you're interested in why popular culture is so often driven by an apocalyptic case of the sniffles.The above video was a session at Nine Worlds Geekfest 2013. The session was supported by The Wellcome Trust as part their engagement with with the games, broadcast and film industries and commitment to gaming as a form of public engagement with science.     With the first signs of snow fast approaching, you'll no doubt be firing up the furnace and bundling under some blankets for the long winter ahead. And if the developers at Neutronized have their way, you won't have to do it alone. While you're warm and cozy in your house, there's a poor Lost Yeti out there that needs your help!From the folks that brought you Roar Rampage, Lost Yeti is set to deliver a sliding puzzle game with a cool retro feel. Everything from pixel art to the soundtrack is dripping with old school goodness. The gameplay looks as though it should present a good mix of easy-to-grasp and challenging-to-play, with players sliding blocks around to create a path for the Yeti to find his way home.While we weren't completely sold on their previous effort, the aesthetic here is so @#$%ing cute that we're ready to give Neutronized another try. Expect to see Lost Yeti on the App Store in early 2014.

    There's been a pretty cool trend in mobile games lately that's getting harder and harder to ignore: games that are social. And no, I don't mean "social games." I'm not talking about the FarmVille's and Facebook fare of the world. I'm talking about really, truly social. Games that you can play with real people right there in your living room (or car, or grocery line).Marvelous Games and developer SockMonkey Studios are looking to join this trend with Wurdy, a guessing game that sounds an awful lot like The $10,000 Pyramid. Players will have 60 seconds to get their friends to guess as many words as they can - but they can't say the word, act it out, or even rhyme.There are going to be plenty of categories to pick from, with more coming post-launch, but the really neat twist comes in the form of sharing highlights of your play sessions online. The game will use your iOS camera to capture the guessing action, and - if you choose - you can share the resulting video to YouTube or Facebook.Party game fans won't have long to wait on this one. Wurdy is hitting the App Store on December 5.

    We get more emails that you can imagine here at Gamezebo, so it takes something really unique to stand out and grab our attention. And by unique, I mean "clearly ripping off a classic Nintendo formula, but hey, we'll take it!"If you've had a hankerin' for Smash Bros. style fun on your mobile device, Appsolute Games is hoping to scratch that itch. Fright Fight is expected to hit iPhone, iPad and Android in January 2014, with a soft launch in New Zealand right around the corner in the first week of December. The game is set to offer cross-platform play for up to four players, be they random strangers or BFFs (best fightin' friends).The developers are promising a theme that mixes horror, fantasy, and steampunk -- and the Yeti with the golden glove in the trailer seems to support this nicely. We'll be keepin' an eye on this one, if only because Nintendo hasn't given any sort of a firm date on Super Smash Bros. for the 3DS.

    Can't wait for Big Fish Games to unleash the next great entry in the Mystery Case Files series? You won't have to! Gamezebo has just confirmed with Big Fish Games that the 10th entry in the franchise, Mystery Case Files: Fate's Carnival, will be launching on Wednesday, November 27. What's more, we've been given a handful of details to whet your appetites until the game's launch.As you might have guessed from the title, Madame Fate (from the fourth Mystery Case Files game) is back from the dead, and needs your help. This time you'll partner up with her cat Isis as you explore 15 hidden object scenes at this cursed carnival. You'll even get to revisit old acts, like Amazing Larry and Marlena Mermaid. Elephant Games are handling the development duties on this one, which should put a huge smile on the faces of hidden object hunters everywhere.Beyond those basic facts, Big Fish are remaining fairly tight-lipped about what you can expect when the game launches next week. That said, they do have one more surprise for Gamezebo's readers: Pictured below are some images that they say hold clues to the game. Take a look, and if you can figure out the clues, be sure to let fellow MCF fans know over at the official speculation thread.
