    I'm going to come right out and say it: My.com's Jungle Heat offers almost nothing that makes it a fresh or original experience. Outside of the jungle theme, it's hard to find any way that it stands out among the competition. That said, its lack of originality doesn't make it a bad game. While it will likely be lost amongst more prolific strategy titles, Jungle Heat makes for one of the genre's most accessible entry points for Android gamers.

    I tend to have a routine before I write a review. I'll read the game's description in the App Store, check out any previews online, and learn a bit about its prequel. With Rivals at War 2084,I simply looked at a couple screenshots, downloaded the game, and went on my way. I expected an action-packed shooter with team building elements. My ignorant assumption was wrong, and I'm far happier because of it.

    Mobile gamers are used to seeing the occasional "Coming soon" message. A precedent made famous by the Angry Birds series, mobile developers have developed a tendency to tease future updates by leaving un-selectable options on the menu with a "Coming soon" notice attached. Breach & Clear is a shining example of what happens when teasing future content is taken to a new level, leaving behind a half-finished game that isn't all too fun to begin with.

Over a year later, the bullet hell-style shoot'em up has made its launch on iOS. It manages to retain many of the elements people liked about the game. Unfortunately, a few problems remain, and new ones manage to pop up due to its mobile platform.

    Like others, I was flabbergasted when Square Enix announced its new Deus Ex game would be on iOS. In the minds of many, the announcement was further proof that Square was completely out of touch with what its community wants.  I initially agreed with that sentiment, but after playing Deus Ex: The Fall, I not only believe Square made the right move, but set the bar high for future first-person mobile titles.
