    As rare as real cliffhangers are within the casual gaming market, developer Realore did exactly that with Island Tribe by leaving the future of the tribe open. Island Tribe 2 allows the player again to follow the story of this tribe, who is now trying to relocate by the help of a pathfinder. The result is a sequel that is even better than its predecessor.

    Ronnie is back for another burger-turning adventure with Stand O' Food 3, and this time he will try to make his business a spectacular success in Tinseltown. While there was no real storyline in the predecessor, the newest instalment makes more of an effort and even connects Ronnie to Nikki from another G5 Entertainment series, Supermarket Mania 2. Though it still has a few issues, the game is a definite improvement over Stand O'Food 2.

    Developer Sandlot Games tries an interesting spin-off of its Cake Mania franchise Fashion Forward. Risha, one of Jill's best friends and already quite an important part of Cake Mania: Lights, Camera, Action, moves to L.A. but is discouraged to find that there are literally no shops with normally sized clothes. She then immediately decides to open a new glitzy fashion boutique that caters to all shapes and sizes.

    What would you do during vacation on a tropical island? Relax at the beach, swimming, drinking delicious cocktails? Probably, but that would not be an exciting premise for a game. In Hobby Farm, Jill and her husband accidentally stumble upon an abandoned farm, which fortunately turns out as Jill's lifelong dream, a farm at an exotic location. While the storyline is definitely slightly cheesy, the game itself is actually a very solid entry into the casual market.

    Some gamers might still remember Airline Tycoon, a silly and charming yet very challenging simulation released at the end of the 1990s. I loved that game, and I am happy that developer Big Stack Studios managed to create a very entertaining and polished casual game for this interesting sub-genre with Jet Set Go. It also proves that the classic time management formula still works wonderful if executed correctly.
