    I typically don't concern myself much with browser-based free to play MMO's. Right or wrong, I just don't expect much from them. So even when the basis of the game is something I absolutely adore (like Battlestar Galatica), I tend to just gloss over it and move on. Well, luckily after all this time I went back for an actual look. As it turns out, my expectations about these games was WAY off.

    Fingle is one of those weird apps that's not quite a game, but really more of an experiment or experience. It's like a non-competitive take on Twister. But with your hands. There's no real scoring system, and no winner. Maybe it's not a game per se, but when you're in it, there's no doubt that you're definitely "playing" it.

    Marble games have been around for years now. Many people think about games like Marble Madness fondly, both as an arcade game and later on the NES. Not that long ago Marble Blast Ultra was on the Xbox, and we've had Super Monkey Ball on various Nintendo systems for years. Marble Arena 2 takes the same rolling round gameplay and drops it on the Mac App Store.

    Solitaire Kingdom Quest is, as you can probably surmise from the title, a medieval themed solitaire card game. The flavor of solitaire in question is Klondike, which is the typical version that we've all seen. The game is the follow-up to the super-popular Solitaire Kingdom, and seems to add in a lot of the stuff we've seen in the Slingo Quest series as well.

    It's exciting to be a board game fan and touch screen owner these days. It seems that with every passing day, more and more game makers are getting on the bandwagon and releasing digital versions of their new board games on the iOS devices. When Elder Signs hit stores, the digital version hit at almost the same exact time! That being said, it's nice when they give older games some love as well. Enter the worker placement "classic" Caylus.

    Tiny Wings was a certifiable hit. A nice and simple swoop and glide mechanic with controls boiled down to a single touch made it easy for anyone to pick up and enjoy. There's nothing quite like the feeling of that perfect dive-bomb, skimming the Earth and then sailing above the clouds in a beautiful arc. But simple and addicting iOS games means inevitable heir apparent, trying to capture lightning in a bottle for the 2nd (or 3rd or 10th) time. Can Woody Woodpecker do it?

    "Man, if I were in the middle of a zombie apocalypse I'd definitely survive. The secret is just to do...." We've all had the conversations, either amongst nerds or in our own heads of how we'd traverse the suddenly deadly world filled with zombies. You'd grab certain supplies, hit the road, avoid the cities and keep quiet. It all sounds so easy when you're not throwing obstacles in your path. ZDay Survival Simulator doesn't play so nice. Think you can survive when all of your choices sound like they could potentially go bad, and survival seems just out of reach?

Now they're moving into the crimesolver gaming space with Law & Order: Legacies, and premiering on iOS to boot!
