    Hipsta Chez is a solitary game that uses both sides of a chess board and a random assortment of pieces. You'll play both sets of chess pieces and don't have to alternate between colors. The point of the game is to line up at least 4 like colors in a row horizontally, vertically or diagonally. When you do, they disappear from the board. Your goal is to clear the board as fast as you can.

    Alright folks, here's the deal. I dig curling, like, alot. Way more than anyone from America should. Most of us like football, I like curling. It's probably not a big surprise that I don't get to enjoy my beloved game in the digital format too often. I've even imported Japanese games to get my curling fix. So while hesitant about the "pig" part of Pig Curling, I was more than willing to deal with it if it meant touch screen sweeping goodness. Ultimately though, I came away crushed and disappointed.

    At first glance Do Do EGG appears to be a typical match-3 puzzle game, but luckily for those of us who've played more than their fair share of match-3 games, this isn't the case. Like any good puzzle game, Do Do EGG takes what's familiar and just twists it a bit to force us into thinking a little differently, using our tried and true puzzle game prowess in a new way. Unfortunately there's also a catch to this otherwise enjoyable experience.

    Hothead games have had a bit of a weird trajectory in the game making territory. They busted out of the game with the Penny Arcade game, then followed it up with Monkey Island alum Ron Gilbert's Deathspank. They then turned to iOS devices with Chromanoids and Bunny the Zombie Slayer. They've continued this mobile trend with their own take on classic number puzzles in Sudoku Rush.

    Flick Champions is a mini-game collection generally based around that basic gameplay element of "flicking," and applying it to a variety of sports. Some of the applications work better than others, running the full gamut from really fun to not fun at all. I'd actually go so far to say that more than half of the games are just so-so at best. So why do I think Flick Champions is still worth owning?

    Skillz is the first iPad game I've played that requires you to set it down flat somewhere and to look down at it. It might require a little trial and error in finding something you're comfortable with, since you really do need a sort of top-down view at the screen to see everything going on and have your hands in a comfortable spot. But once you get in the zone, Skillz: The DJ Game is a great music game.

    This is probably the hardest review I've ever had to write here at Gamezebo, mostly because this game seems to defy so many typical game conventions. A complete understanding of the game would take dozens and dozens of playthroughs, and even then, I still wonder if you'd really have your head wrapped around this game. But if you like something a little more intellectual, something with a fantastic story, and that can be played differently hundreds of times, then this the game you've been waiting for.
