    SpellTower does a phenomenal job of reminding me of two very true facts. One; I absolutely love word games. And two; I absolutely suck at word games. It's humbling to go through life relatively confident that you're at least pretty smart only to "relax" and "enjoy" some time with a word based game. By the time I'm done playing I feel so dumb that I'm pretty sure the state should take away all the knives in my house and I'm not sure how I'm able to tie my shoes in the morning.

    Orczz is a tower defense-style game played out on a grid. You'll be defending your kingdom from invading orcs (or "Orczz") who will attack along one of five rows. You'll place units in those rows to stop the orcs from moving all the way across the screen and into your base. If all this sounds eerily similar to a horticulture-meets-undead-themed game you've played before, well... it's because they play very similarly.

    If you've ever been in the mood for an addictive retro-tinged management game, then Kairosoft have been there for you through thick and thin - managing game studios, grand prix teams, spas, malls and more. In a similar vein, we're now setting sail for the high seas to manage and develop our own cruise ship in World Cruise Story. It's more of the Kairosoft formula that we all love, albeit a bit simplified from earlier outings.

    Tigris and Euphrates is, to boutique board game players, the very definition of a classic. When it's considered one of a designer's best efforts, and that designer is famous for making excellent games, then you know you're getting something special. A digital port of this much beloved classic was a risky move, if it didn't live up to the standard set it was really going to fall on its face. Luckily developer Codito has done an excellent job.

    I've said numerous times throughout my life that my ability to pack a suitcase or car so efficiently can be attributed to the thousands of hours I've spent playing Tetris. Filling every nook and cranny, rotating and sliding each piece just so. My skills are superhuman. So when presented with Bag It!, a game where the task at hand is to pack a bag of groceries by moving items around on a grid... well, I've been training for this my entire life.

    When you break down what EPOCH is and how it plays, it sort of flies in the face of me telling you that it's a really good game. Even now, sitting here thinking of how to explain the game makes it sound mediocre at best and a bore at worst. This is a new one for me, so I guess I have my work cut out for me in trying to convey just how worth playing this game is.

    I've never played the first Fairway Solitaire game, though I've heard it was quite popular. As such, I can't offer an opinion on how one compares to the other. But I can say this: If the first game is anywhere near as good as Fairway is, well, I might just have to go back and check it out. Fairway is, well, it's excellent.

    Reviewing a Kairosoft game at this point really means comparing and contrasting it to the multitude of other games they've released. It's kinda like this one, straying from the formula of that one. Yadda Yadda. Spoiler Alert: That trend will continue in this review. The good news is that Oh! Edo Towns, while sadly closer to the Kairosoft titles I didn't like, has made some good changes to start bringing me around.
