    Another iteration on PopCap's popular Zuma title has come to light on Facebook. The new app is dubbed Marble Trails from developer Mega Zebra. Despite its obvious inspiration, however, the game is solidly made and even devises a handful of new features like boss battles. Unfortunately, the new ideas are scarce, leaving players wishing there was a bit more than the same old game that has been played a dozen times before.

    Not too long ago mobile games developer TeamLava released Pet Shop Story, and hot on its heels comes their latest social app, Zoo Story 2. Combining mechanics of the previous title with the original Zoo Story, the business simulation comes with all the familiarity players are used to. Unfortunately, that also means there isn't a whole lot of innovation at the heart of the title, but at least TeamLava incorporates a bit of discovery in the game through animal breeding.

Working their way up from slummy apartments to luxury hotels, the game sounds interesting enough but comes with a central mechanic that is just plain boring.

Your typical farming simulation game, it contains many of the nuances of the genre but builds on them with more involved mechanics, crafting, and a generally more expansive virtual space from which to work within.

Successor to the absurdly popular Paper Toss, the new iteration contains all the mechanics of the original and couples them with several new game modes, items, and a few extras. As enjoyable as the first, the complaints to be had are minimal at worst.

Allowing players to expand their virtual zoos even further, the game comes with a host of new animals, features, and visual upgrades. That said, the core of the game is really no different than the original, but considering the overbearing popularity of the Tap Zoo name, such is probably not something worth changing anyway.
