    The idea behind Jenguu, a match-three puzzler from small, ironically-named Canadian developer Vast Studios, is solid: Players clear blocks that slowly stack up on posts by matching them according to their material and size. Alas, lazy design, poor production values, and an unfortunately low level of difficulty keep the game from reaching its full potential.

    The second and final chapter in comic book artist Benoît Sokal's acclaimed adventure series, Syberia 2 picks up where its predecessor left off, with lawyer-turned-explorer Kate Walker and her eccentric friend Hans Voralberg in northern Russia and on their way to the seemingly mythical island of Syberia, where woolly mammoths roam free.While those who have played the original will likely have a greater appreciation for some of the events that take place in this game, a lengthy and informative recap of the first Syberia ought to help franchise rookies get a pretty good feel for the story and its characters.

    A lot of the games we play require quick thinking and quicker reflexes, which is why it's nice to take a break every once in a while with a slower-paced but no less engrossing point-and-click adventure game. Like Syberia.

    Enchanted Fairy Friends: Secret of the Fairy Queen is a calming, laid-back hidden object game filledwith lush, green scenes and set to a pleasant score composed of meandering wind instruments and lightly dancing strings - ideal ingredients to help one kick back and relax. If only a little more attention had been paid to the puzzles themselves, it would have been an easy recommendation.The story begins with an introduction from the titular monarch, who tells players that if they assist her eight fairy friends in finding items they've lost in a dozen different picturesque locations, they will each reveal one letter of the queen's name, which has never before been read by human eyes nor heard by human ears.

If he isn't found within a week, the unveiling of The Golden Clock exhibit at a local museum will be put on hold. Dr. Ellis must examine the places the professor has been for clues left behind in order to discover what has happened to him in this seek-and-find adventure.The game's story is told through a handful of comic panel-style sequences that, from the perspective of narrative, are more confusing than they are elucidating. Best to just click through them and get to the real reason you're looking at your screen, which is to find some hidden objects.

Not only are his books and television shows instructive, they also contain important themes such as conservationism and gender equality. Hence, the reason why I was willing to let my three-year-old daughter have at Bob's latest interactive adventure: Bob the Builder: Can Do Zoo, from Brighter Minds and Diner Dash and Jojo's Fashion Show creator Gamelab.

Great word games don't come along very often - it's tricky to make a game that provides an interesting challenge to word lovers while still being accessible to those with less extensive vocabularies - but Dam Beavers might have been such a game if not for a few fatal flaws.
