    It's interesting that Alawar chose to give Gourmania 2: Great Expectations such a subtitle as I went into the game with the same - great expectations. Unfortunately, even for the appreciated mix of hidden object and time management gameplay styles, Gourmania 2 is a fairly disappointing game that focuses more on cleaning and building repair than on fun.

    Do ideas hold any significance if never fulfilled in the real world? Does an imaginary rabbit "live" before we draw him on paper? These are the kinds of questions that Muse poses to players, with its truly unique storyline. However, with limited, repetitive gameplay and some technical issues, the novelty of the game's premise wears off before too long.

    Fans of Yahtzee will likely be interested in Pickomino. The game allows you to roll a series of dice and score points, just like in the aforementioned classic. But there is also an extra layer of complexity here. The game's many rules aren't overly complicated, allowing for players of any age to jump in and try their luck. But there just isn't enough gameplay here to keep you interested for very long.

    Stray Souls: Dollhouse Story is as much of a horror hidden object game as you're likely to find. The game focuses on creating a chilling atmosphere and it mostly succeeds. The story here unfolds quickly through the unique Dollhouse mechanic, but you can finish the game in just as rapid a fashion, likely to be left wanting more.

    It's been a year since Laura graduated from school, in the hopes of making it big as a journalist in New York City. Opportunities are hard to come by however, so she finds herself passing the months working odd jobs. In A Girl in the City, you'll play as Laura through a very haphazardly thrown together storyline, as you attempt to help her achieve her ultimate dream of being an award-winning journalist. This is one case where a game's short length might actually be a positive, though, as I doubt you'd want to play for any longer than you have to.

Citizens hide indoors, fearful for the lives of their children, as a wolf spotting leads to rumors of a werewolf out for blood. In Shadow Wolf Mysteries: Curse of the Full Moon, you are a detective brought into investigate these murders, but what you find therein reaffirms the cliché of never judging a book by its cover.

    Chronicles of Mystery: Tree of Life is the sequel to Chronicles of Mystery: The Scorpio Ritual. After traveling all over Europe in the first game, Sylvie Leroux, a brilliant (but young) archaeologist is back again for another adventure, this time dealing with a series of mysteries ranging from an ancient chest belonging to Ponce de Leon that may have been responsible for a man's death, to the Tree of Life, which grants immortality. As Sylvie is tempted to learn more about these items, however, you'll likely be tempted to turn the game off due to its tedium.
