    Lara Gates: The Lost Talisman is an incredibly basic hidden object game, focusing on Lara, an anthropologist of sorts, who studies ancient artifacts for wealthy clients. After being hired by a college Dean to investigate a series of six Talismans that he has hidden around campus, Lara quickly discovers that the separation of these Talismans unleashes untold evil upon the world, sending her on a (fairly brief) journey to track down the six and remove the evil before it spreads.

With an in-depth, charming storyline and plenty of mini-game variety, Tales of Lagoona makes a splash in the hidden object space, even for its few faults.

    It's convenient that MadCap has the word "mad" in its name, as you'll likely be driven to insanity after the first few levels. In this post Angry Birds era, games in the level-based "catapult" style have some pretty big shoes to fill, but while there are many other games on various platforms that can at least successfully mimic that style of play, MadCap is a downright mess.

    Dreams of a Geisha may on the outset appear to be just a beautifully-themed, but standard match-three title, but look deeper and you'll see a relaxing yet highly complex puzzler that offers four different gameplay modes and tons of extras within each. While not without faults, all of these elements combine to form a pretty enjoyable package in the end.

    Midnight Mysteries: Devil on the Mississippi is the newest in the now established series that has taken us through the Salem Witch Trials and the Edgar Allan Poe Conspiracy. This time, you're approached by the fleeing ghost of Mark Twain, who begs you to free his soul from demons, both literal and emotional, brought on by actions in his former life. Through a fairly convoluted storyline, we see Twain's life take a turn for the worse when he questions Shakespeare's validity as a playwright, and its up to us to solve two mysteries before all is said and done.
