Skyward Collapse Review
Skyward Collapse is a god game with a twist. Instead of leading your people to victory over non-believers, you lead two sets of people to a state of geopolitical equilibrium. In doing this, you must ensure that both sides are powerful enough to survive and flourish in a dangerous, mythological world, but that neither gains enough of an advantage to wipe the other out. It's an interesting idea, but it leaves something to be desired in execution.
Moon Rising Preview
In the future, man will return to the moon. He will build bases there, and colonies. He will claim it for his own. And, as sure as night follows day because that's just how humanity rolls, pretty soon some other jerk will do exactly the same thing: and the next thing you know, it's a fight. So goes the setup in Moon Rising, a game described as "in the mold of" classics like Advanced Wars and Laser Squad, but with a few interesting twists of its own.
Cognition: An Erica Reed Thriller – Episode 3: The Oracle Review
FBI agent Erica Reed is back again for another exciting Cognition adventure! This time, her quest to find her brother's killer puts her on the trail of the murderer known only as The Oracle. But is she really the hunter - or has she become the prey?
Sanctum 2 Review
Sanctum 2 blends the action-packed first-person shooter genre with the strategic elements of tower defense games, and as a "Jack of all trades, master of none," it isn't particularly strong as either. But to employ yet another overused cliché - the whole being greater than the sum of its parts - it nonetheless manages to be an intense and surprisingly fun multiplayer blast-fest.
Anomaly 2 Review
Anomaly 2 is a well-polished and intense addition to the unusual "tower offense" sub-genre, but while its new "convoy-versus-towers" multiplayer twist is an interesting idea, in execution it leaves a little bit to be desired.

Residue Review
I don't think I've ever played a game with a greater gap between concept and execution than that of Residue. I love the idea of a story-driven platform adventure based on the real-life environmental nightmare of the Aral Sea, which makes it all the more disappointing that everything about it is such an absolute mess.
