    Call forth the kingdom's jewelers! On the eve of the royal wedding, a fire-breathing dragon has attacked the castle and stolen the crown jewels! The king's brave knights were able to wound the beast and drive it back to its lair, but in its flight the dragon dropped the stolen treasure, smashing the jewels and scattering them across the land. No royal couple can be wed without the crown jewels, so you have been chosen by the king to find the pieces and restore the jewelry so the prince and princess can have their fairytale ending.

    The noir genre of film and literature is packed full of great, famous hard-boiled detective characters, not one of whom I can actually name. My tastes run more toward guys like Tracer Bullet and Flint Paper, private dicks who somehow manage to perfectly skewer the genre by doing nothing but remaining unerringly true to it. For awhile, it looked like Nick Chase would take his place among that esteemed company, but when all was said and done there wasn't quite enough gum on his shoes to put him over the top.

    Playing Youda Legend: The Golden Bird of Paradise, the second game in the Youda Legend series, is like driving a Chevy Malibu: It's competently built, reasonably reliable and comes with all the usual hidden object game options. But if you're looking for anything more than that, like soft Corinthian leather or any sense of style and excitement, you're in for a disappointment.
