    A name like Perfect Getaway might make you imagine some sort of crime-theme gamed, but the reality is actually something quite different. Perfect Getaway is a management sim where you run your own passenger cruise ship and sail around the world, picking up souvenirs and improving your ship with new luxuries. It's a game developed by Chinese MMO publisher Perfect World, so there's a cutesy anime veneer to the avatars. This game doesn't seem to be especially aimed at a younger crowd, though, instead offering the sort of casual play that appeals to all ages.

    Farkle Pro is one of many Facebook apps that lets you play the slightly obscure dice game Farkle online. Playtika's iteration is easy-to-use, runs well, and features robust matchmaking. It also explains the rules, which may be unfamiliar to many players. Farkle is somewhat similar to the classic Hasbro dice game Yahtzee, but the rules are a bit simpler and there's a big emphasis on betting.

    Ecotopia is what would happen if you took that part of a management sim game where you have to clean up your property and turned that into the entire game. It's a game where you exclusively pick up trash, clean up decrepit properties, and upgrade run-down buildings. It's an interesting concept for a game that wants to make its players environmentally aware, but it runs into the usual problem that plagues entertainment with educational or ecological themes: when you make an entertainment product with any goal besides being entertaining, then the entertainment value of the product inevitably suffers. To put it differently, Captain Planet isn't anyone's favorite superhero and it's hard to believe Ecotopia would ever be someone's favorite game.

    Divinitiz is something that very few Facebook games ever are: original. Although the gameplay is a basic take on your Diner Dash time-management puzzler, very few of these are available on Facebook and it's doubtful that any of them are about you, as a newbie deity, taking up the thankless task of delivering offerings to a pantheon of cranky deities. Even if there is another game using this premise, I doubt it lets you deliver quite so many chocolate cakes to Bastet, the Egyptian cat goddess. Even though the current iteration of Divinitiz has many features yet to be implemented, the strength of the core premise still makes for an appealing and enjoyable game.

    Dark Ritual is a fanciful HOG thriller where you star as an FBI agent looking for her sister, who went missing after undergoing some kind of… well, dark ritual. The plot turns into fine web of paranoia and mysticism, as you find out a scientist has discovered an ancient Incan mind control serum and must be stopped from using it to… well, the game is vague on this point. He probably intends to rule the world, but seems content to work toward that goal very slowly.

    Free MMOs are understandably trying to get their piece of the Facebook gaming craze, since even a game a few years old typically offers more content and features than the average social game. Dreamland Online is one such older game trying to rejuvenate itself through Facebook, though its integration with the platform is far more extensive than usual. Although IGG also offers a client-based version of the game, the Facebook version is fully playable as a browser-based game. The only requirement is that players download and install the Kalydo Player plug-in.

    Countless developers have adapted Jeopardy into a video game across countless formats since the inception of the medium. Few of these adaptations have captured the true appeal of the TV show, instead suffering from hateful AI issues and an all-too-limited pool of trivia answers that players must use to ask the correct question. It may seem improbable, but GSN's Jeopardy for Facebook is probably one of the best Jeopardy-based video games ever made. The game doesn't repeat questions, accurately emulates the show's format, and can offer some serious challenge to a trivia fan.

    Ludia is a developer with quite a track record of turning popular game and reality shows into enjoyable Facebook social games, having developed the excellent Facebook version of The Price is Right. Who Wants To Be A Millionaire is the company's latest effort and it's everything you could reasonably expect a social adaptation of the game to be. Ludia hasn't dropped the ball, instead perfectly adapting the look and feel of the current syndicated version of the show into the Facebook version. Most of Who Wants To Be a Millionaire's problems come from basic limitations of the format rather than how it was adapted.
