This Roblox games of the week feature was created on January 09th, 2024. Now, without further ado, let’s share my favourites and why they made the list. Don’t worry, I know you might not share my opinion, but hopefully, you either agree with the choices or find a new game to try. If you don’t, please come back next week for our new selection of games!
Usually, I’m not a fan of Tower Defence games, but this title is actually quite impressive! The units are well thought out, there are multiple upgrade lineages and more substance to the game than just plonking units around and squashing enemies. Plus, my current best unit is Zoro who was appropriately named Mosshead in this game. My pookie.
Regretevator is great way to waste a bit of time, or put in the grind. This game stunts stunning level design and graphics. The goal is to survive each elevator floor which usually has a zany task for you to complete with fellow players. Shoplift, crossy roads, parkour, escape gas leaks. Think Natural Disaster but a bit more involved! Plus, coins you earn from surviving can be used in upgrades. Nifty.
Whilst in early access, this game already gives so much. Voxels is a remake of Minecraft within Roblox. The graphics remind me of those aesthetic texture packs for MC that made everything look super smooth. If you’re a fan of Minecraft then this title is a no-brainer since it mimics the game really well whilst also including new crafting recipes like furniture. Plus, more pet and wild animal options!
Hilarious title. In this tycoon, you’re a bit like Plankton from Spongebob in the sense that your computer wife leaves you and threatens to not return unless you earn 1M. You’re determined to earn some cash and keep your sanity up with Bloxycola. So, what better way to earn your wife back than sell all her belongings? Everything that gets purged from your home has a different monetary value which can then be recycled into home upgrades. You got this, champ.
