War Dragons Tips, Cheats and Strategies

War Dragons is a battle strategy game from Pocket Gems. In this game, you breed and train dragons, then send them out to do battle against other players in a bid for supremacy. Gamezebo’s War Dragons: Tips, Cheats, and Strategies will help you rock the dragon.

• Watch your firepower – Hunter dragons and sorcerer dragons have powerful attacks, but the energy meters for said attacks drain very quickly if you don’t pace yourself. Be very specific with your targets, and make scout an area before launching an attack.
• Opponent too tough? Exit the battle screen, then enter again – If you opt to attack an opponent but find they’re a bit heavy in the offense and defense department, don’t fret. Tap “end battle,” then re-select the fight option to cycle through to a new opponent.
• Scope out an area before attacking – The more damage your dragon does on their first fly-through, the better. Once you’ve decided on an opponent, tap the “Map” button to scout the area. You can also choose which dragon to start with based on your enemy’s defenses.
• Try to finish a mission using as few dragons as possible – The fewer dragons you use to get through a mission, the more wood, experience, and food you earn. Go for a single-dragon victory!

• Perform Ash’s requests – Ash will show you the ropes in War Dragons, and she also doles out missions that can be completed for rewards. Doing these requests will earn you valuable resources, plus you’ll receive hints and directions on what you ought to build or do next.
• Group lighting towers – Lightning towers amplify one another’s powers when they’re grouped together. Make them buddies.
• Perform dragon token missions – Dragon tokens are necessary for breeding new, stronger dragons. Visit the hot air balloon hovering over your islands to see what actions you need to perform in order to win more tokens. Usually it requires some kind of action in battle, such as using a skill a certain number of times.
• Hunter dragons excel at attacking towers – Hunter Dragons run out of fire power very easily, but their shots are packed with power, and their skills lets them enhance that power temporarily. Use hunter dragons to take down high-level towers and other heavy artillery.

• Warrior dragons do damage over a wide range of targets – Warrior dragons have high hit points and defense, and can wield healing spells and shields. Their firepower is usually unlimited, but comparatively weak. They’re good for spreading damage over a wide range of targets, or for cleaning up near the end of a fight.
• Sorcerer dragons are good against dense defenses – Sorcerer dragons can link their breath attacks and chain damage. These linked attacks are effective against defenses that are clustered together, like a group of cannons or towers.
• Don’t forget to train your dragons – Never forget to train your dragons. You need to spend a bit of food in order to do so, but the boost in strength is worth it. Even if you don’t plan to use a dragon regularly in battle, most dragons play a part in breeding, and must be at level four before they can produce an egg.
