First Enrique, and now Michael Jackson. Zynga has announced that the late King of Pop will be making an appearance in CityVille in support of the new MJ-themed Cirque du Soleil show The Immortal World Tour.
First Enrique, and now Michael Jackson. Zynga has announced that the late King of Pop will be making an appearance in CityVille in support of the new MJ-themed Cirque du Soleil show The Immortal World Tour.
By completing quests players will be able to unlock a stage themed after the show, which in turn will unlock an exclusive video from the tour. Additionally, you can unlock various MJ-themed goods, such as a Bubbles the monkey avatar, posters and in-game items based on the tour, and even a “synchronized gang of marching futuristic soldiers.”
Of course Jackson isn’t the first pop start to show up in a social game. Earlier this year Lady Gaga took over FarmVille, while the other king, Elvis Presley, is due to star in his very own social game.
Zynga Poker is also getting in on the action with a specially designed felt table based on the Cirque du Soleil show.
The festivities start today and will end on November 25.
