Global Warfare developer Kabam recently secured a hefty $85 million in funding, and now the company is using at least some of that money to expand its operations internationally with a new Luxembourg-based office.

In addition to serving as a customer support base for European players, the new office, dubbed Kabam Europe, will also focus on localizing the developer’s game for new markets.

“Kabam is committed to serving its international customers and enhancing their game experience,” Boris Pfeiffer, Kabam Europe’s new managing director, said. “Translating games so players can experience them in their native languages while receiving localized support makes for a much more engaging and immersive gaming experience.”

Kabam is best known as a developer of “hardcore” Facebook games, which include Dragons of Atlantis, Kingdoms of Camelot, and Glory of Rome.

The new office is currently home to around 25 new employees, but Kabam expects that number to double by year’s end.
