Couple Run is a game about guiding a courting couple through a series of challenging obstacles. When you swipe you move them both in opposite directions, left and right, along the track. At the end of the level you can’t let your guard down. There are still gaps and holes in the track and if you want to get the best score you’re going to have to avoid them. Keep moving and dodging until the two characters stop.
Make sure you’re upgrading the characters evenly. Usually you’ll only be able to afford one at once, so make sure the next time you get some cash you’re upgrading the other one, or watch a video to bring them both up to parity.Â
It can be tempting to twitch and dash your way through the levels, but that can get you in all sorts of trouble. Try and move as smoothly as you can, picking out obstacles and items well before you get there and following sensible routes so you don’t have to make any sudden, desperate changes.

When you’re on the bike, the controls are a little different. You’re not splitting anything up anymore, you’re just steering normally. Use the bike to get loads of extra cash and to get through chunks of the level much quicker than you’d otherwise have been able to.
