Punball is a ball-bouncing, block-breaking RPG with roguelite elements that sees you trying to blast down waves of enemies. It’s fun, but it’s got some big ideas at its core that you’re going to have to come to terms with if you want to see the later levels.

The most important trick you need to learn is how to work the angles. Don’t just shoot straight at a target, try and find ways to continue the shot by bouncing your balls off it and into another enemy. Finding a multiple ricochet path can lead to you delivering incredible amounts of damage.
When an enemy crosses the line at the bottom of the screen it’s going to do you some damage. Take too much damage and it’s game over. You need to prioritize the enemies that are closest to you, taking them down before they can get within attacking range.Â
When you unlock an upgrade, it’s important to know what it does. Grabbing a buff that powers up your lightning attacks isn’t going to do much good if you don’t have any lightning attacks. Learn what the different upgrades do, and figure out how you can stack them up to the best effect.
You should spend your gold on upgrading your skills in the skill tree system. You’ll know you’ve got enough to unlock a new power when a green arrow shows on the icon on the front page. You can also spend purple gems when you get them on unlocking even more powerful rewards.Â
There are lots of different ways the game gives you rewards, from free chests to money earned over time.
