Stone Miner is a game that features very little mining and quite a lot of stone. You’re driving around in a big truck, smashing up rocks with a grinding attachment and piling them up to sell. It’s fun, in a repetitive sort of a way, and it features more than a few little twists that you’re going to have to get to grips with if you want to win.
Luckily, we’ve covered everything you need to know in this guide. We’ve played a good chunk of the game and pulled it all together to create the strategies you’re about to read. Every word here is designed to help you take your game to the next level.
Whether you’ve mashed a few rocks or you’re clambering into the cab for the first time, you’re going to find something here that’ll help you out. So let’s do this – here are the best hints, tips and cheats for Stone Miner.
Upgrade your capacity
You can upgrade the capacity of your truck from the upgrade store. Tap on the truck tab to get there. The bigger your capacity, the longer you can spend grinding before you need to head back and sell your stone. You should use your pet to increase your capacity too – pick the cat instead of the dog.
Always be grinding
You should always be smashing up rocks, even if you don’t have the capacity to collect them, Try not to waste your journeys back to the store, and instead leave some smashed rocks to grab the next time you head out onto the island.
Be smart with the power-ups
If you’ve got the infinite damage power-up, for example, you should be smashing everything in sight and not fretting about picking up the bricks you’re making. If you’ve got the infinite capacity boost, then make sure you’re grabbing all the bricks you can see. Play smart and you’ll get the most out of your power-ups.
Finish the levels
Make sure you take the time to get three stars on all of the levels. While you might be able to move on after one, the extra cash you get from finishing the level completely will put you in a better position moving on to the next challenge. Grind everything to dust and leave the island a barren husk – it’s the human way.
Strengthen your machine
You’ll need to toughen up your grinding tool as you play as well – when you’re hitting rocks that are turning the grinder red, you’re not strong enough to smash them. Look for the upgrade that’s going to get you the most extra power. Upgrade regularly and you’ll do just fine.
