Rope-Man Run is an auto-runner where you’re made of rope. You need to avoid all the spikes and traps and try to get to the end in as complete a condition as you can. It’s easy to get to grips with, but you’re going to have to understand some different layers if you want to get the most out of the game.

And that’s why we wrote this guide. It’s full of all the hints, tips and tricks that we’ve discovered during our time playing Rope-Man Run. If you follow these strategies you’re going to be getting the chest at the end of the level more often than not.

There’s going to be something here for new and old players alike – we like to make sure our guides are for everyone. So let’s do this – here are the very best hints, tips and cheats for Rope-Man Run.

Always get the rope

You should always try to pick up the piles of rope whenever you can. Prioritize them over gems or anything else. Sometimes you’ll have to risk losing some of your bulk to get stronger, but it’s worth it if it all goes well. The bigger you are, the more chance you’ve got to get to the end of the level.

Learn the patterns

Most of the obstacles will be exactly the same when they pop up, so once you’ve learned to get through them you should use the same moves next time. Swinging hammers, moving spikes – anything you come against you can learn to perfect. The more you learn, the better you’re going to do.

Pick up the power-ups

Look for the power-ups that sometimes pop up on the levels, and grab them whenever you can. They’re always going to help you get to the end of the level quicker than usual – letting you smash through obstacles or take hits that would normally kill you. If there’s a power-up, go and get it.

Hit the wall if you won’t reach the end

If your ball of rope is getting too small and it looks like you’re not going to reach the end of the level, try and hit one of the walls that gives you gems. At least that way you’re going to get a decent chunk of currency, even if you’re missing out on the major rewards in the chest.

Upgrade evenly

At the start of each level you can spend your gems to upgrade your stats. There are two of these, and you want to make sure you’re spending the money evenly between them. You won’t have to watch the videos to increase them, just spend your gems and keep upgrading when you’ve got the dosh.
