As in most shooting games, the headshot is your most powerful attack. You can take out the vast majority of enemies with a single blast if you hit them in the head. Wherever possible, you should be aiming for a headshot, it’s as simple as that. Obviously, there are going to be times where it’s impossible, but for the most part – aim for the head.
When you’re up against opponents that are covered with armor, your best bet is to spam shots at them until they’re dead. While precision is more important with smaller foes, when your enemy has protection, it’s much easier to just blast away. Focus on the chest area, and you’ll be able to take them down pretty quickly.
You should always be on the lookout for red barrels. You can shoot these to create explosions that’ll take down multiple foes in one fell swoop. Sometimes you can chain together multiple explosions to kill most of the enemies on the level before they’ve even noticed you’re there.
Whenever you see a chest, you should try and shoot it. It isn’t the end of the world if you don’t, but hit one and you’ll get a new gun to play with for the rest of the level. When you’ve finished you’ll get the chance to watch a video to unlock the gun permanently, so it’s well worth your time if you’re a completionist.
Sometimes when you’re moving between the sections of a level, you’ll be able to see the next group of enemies you’re going to come up against. You should be shooting them as soon as they’re in sight.
