Full Metal 3D is a game that lets you live that Iron Man life. You’ll race down obstacle-packed courses, picking up parts of your suit, before taking on some mechanical menaces in a laser-fuelled battle to the death. Sounds pretty cool, right? And it is, but it can be tough too, especially if you don’t know what’s what.

And that’s why we’ve written you this strategy guide. It’s packed full of all of the hints, tips and tricks we’ve discovered during our time playing Full Metal 3D. Follow these and you’ll be saving the world in no time flat.

Whether you’re new to the game or you’ve been playing for a while, you’re going to find something here that’s going to help you out. So let’s get the heck on with it, shall we? Here are the best hints, tips and cheats for Full Metal 3D.

Don’t hit anything

In the first section of a level, you want to try and avoid everything. Sure, it’s tempting to smash into the evil robots and show them who’s boss, but it’ll leave you at a disadvantage when you get to the fight at the end? Why? Well, we’ll explain that in the next part of this strategy guide.

Get a full suit

Getting a full suit should be your main aim in the first section of a level. Pick up the boots and you’ll soon find yourself encased in robotic armor. This gives you added protection when it comes to the final fight, making things much easier. Focus on picking up the boots and avoiding the obstacles. Getting a full suit also lets you blast out a laser for a bit, clearing a path.

Shoot the rockets

In the end-of-level fights, try and shoot down the rockets before they reach you. This isn’t possible in the early parts of the level unless you’ve just got a full suit, so it’s best to avoid the rockets then. When it comes to the fights, though, your best bet at survival involves making sure no ordnance gets close enough to hurt you.

Hit the targets in boss fights

Boss fights see you taking on much bigger opponents with much larger health bars. To take them down you need to hit the targets. You’ll feel a vibration when you’re hitting in the right spot – and watch out for big attacks that you need to shoot down as well.

What are the gems for?

You can spend the gems on new costumes in the store at the start of a level. You’ll also unlock outfits as you play and find them in the chests when you’ve got enough keys. By all means spend your gems to get new suits of robo-armor, but we wouldn’t worry too much about watching videos to increase your gem haul.
