Mr Logic is a game that mixes together a whole bunch of puzzling ideas, throws in some riddles and asks you to sort everything out. It’s the kind of experience that’s going to have you scratching your head often, which means you might need some help to get things going.

That’s where this guide comes in. We’ve discovered some hints, tips and tricks that are really going to help you out in Mr Logic. Use these strategies and, all being well, you’re going to be able to figure out even the most fiendish brain teases that the game hurls at you.

Whatever your experience with Mr Logic, there’s going to be something in this guide that’s likely to get you out of a sticky situation. So let’s stop the mussing and fussing and get on with it – here are the best hints, tips and cheats for Mr Logic.

Make sure the switch is set correctly

There’s a switch in the bottom right of the grid that lets you choose between adding a tick and a cross to a box. It usually starts off in the cross position, so make sure to check what you’re adding onto the grid before you tap. It’s super annoying to waste a mistake because you’ve put the wrong mark in without double checking.

Read the hints carefully

Everything you need to solve the puzzles is in the hints at the bottom of the screen. Read them carefully and think about what they’re telling you, then add the relevant marks. Even details that seem to add nothing can be super helpful and narrow down the choices you have to make.

Scroll down

Be sure to check that you’ve read all of the hints. Sometimes there are more below the others, so scroll down the list and see what’s what. There aren’t always extra hints, but make sure you check all the same. It’s rubbish to mess things up because you missed out on a piece of information.

Start with the easiest levels

Don’t just jump into the tougher challenges and expect to nail them. You need to start off slow. Once you’ve completed the tutorials, start off with the easy levels. There’s still a decent level of challenge here, and it’s a great way to prod your brain in the directions it’s going to have to take on the tougher levels.

Use the hints if you’re stuck

Don’t just poke blindly at the screen and hope that something hits. You’ve got hints – the magnifying glass icon – so use them if you’re really stuck. It’s a good idea to re-read everything before you do, just to be sure. And only use your hints if you’ve used up two of your mistakes.
