Get It Right is an intriguing game about breaking codes. You’ve got some colored balls and you need to place them in the right order. The game lets you know when you make a mistake, but you’ve only got a set amount of chances to figure out the code before it’s game over.
It can be a pretty overwhelming experience, but we’re pretty darn relaxed about the whole thing and have written up a guide to help anyone who might be struggling. With these hints, tips and tricks you’re going to be getting it right in Get It Right in no time flat.
You might have already cracked a few codes, you might be brand new to the whole thing, but we reckon there’s going to be something here that’s going to help you out. Here, then, are the best strategies for success in Get It Right.
A green circle around a ball means that it’s in the right place. An orange circle means that you need to move that ball to a different space on the board. A red circle means that the ball isn’t part of the solution. Remember these and you’re halfway towards completing most of the levels in Get it Right.
Your first move doesn’t matter that much – pick the right number of balls and stick them into the puzzle. Look at the result and then take a moment to think about what needs changing. Also check how many more moves you’ve got left. Sometimes you’ve got space to experiment, other times you’re going to need to get things right much quicker. Always take the time to think though.
It can be intimidating to see a load of balls and rows of combinations, but if anything those are the easiest levels. You’ve got lots of time to get things right, so don’t get disheartened. Take your time, place the balls carefully and you’ll do just fine.
Just because one ball is in the right place, doesn’t mean a ball of the same color doesn’t fit in somewhere else on the puzzle. Think about the combinations you’ve used and what they’re telling you – a red circle always means no, so if that blocks out combinations of all different balls, you’re going to have to double up.
You can spend the coins on new looks for your balls. You’ll find these by tapping on the paintbrush icon in the top right hand of the screen. They don’t change how the game plays, so we wouldn’t recommend chasing the coins. But if you end up with enough for a new set of balls, there are worse things you could do than buy one.
