MU Archangel, the latest game in the long-running MU franchise, is available for pre-registration in Southeast Asia. You can pre-register for it in Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, and the Philippines.

MU Archangel is a successor to MU Online, the PC multiplayer game that started it all in 2001. Webzen is pitching it as the most complete mobile game based on the existing MU universe.

Like the other games in the series, it sees you choosing from three unique classes – Dark Knight, Dark Wizard, and Elf – and heading off on an adventure through a vast fantasy world full of monsters and NPCs.

Those of you who played MU Online back in the day will recognize features and areas like Blood Castle, Devil’s Square, Chaos Castle, and so on.

Gameplay-wise, MU Archangel will let you level-up rapidly by performing a variety of daily quests, and you’ll spend time hunting bosses, clearing dungeons, and earning rewards to strengthen your equipment and upgrade your character.

There’s single-player action in private dungeons like Blood Castle and Devil’s Square, as well as a variety of multiplayer and guild modes, such as Castle Siege, Guild Boss, and Guild Banquet.

MU Archangel has been available for a little while in South Korea, Taiwan, and Vietnam, and it’s going down a storm so far, hitting the top spots in the popular and grossing charts respectively.

While there’s no news of a global launch yet, you can pre-register right now throughout Southeast Asia. And it’s worth that click, since every player who pre-registers will receive a special commemorative title and a selection of item enhancement items when the game launches.

Head to the game’s official website to pre-register, and check out the official MU Archangel Facebook page for the latest updates.
