Kingsense is a futuristic tactical RPG with polished graphics and an all-star cast of voice actors.

In practical terms, the game offers up an endless series of squad-based battles on a 5×9 grid. There are 40 different Sensates to collect, and they each come with their own unique strengths and weaknesses in battle, and their own quirks and personalities too.

The potential for customization is pretty much endless, since each Sensate belongs to one of six classes, and is aligned with one of six elements. Success relies on creating perfectly balanced and suitably levelled up squads to take into battle. 

It also has an awesome backstory.

This story begins, like all the best ones do, with a catastrophic asteroid strike. The environmental fallout of this disaster forces humanity to seek shelter underground, where it creates a new breed of enhanced humans called Sensates. 

The emergence of Sensates triggers a war between the three global powers: the United Council, the P.T.H. Group, and the Kluto Order, a shadowy cabal with the ability to manipulate Sensates to its own wicked ends. 

Eventually, the war comes to an end, and the United Council emerges victorious. But this isn’t the end of humanity’s woes. A new, more insidious threat is emerging, and you need to head it off with the help of your Sensate army. 

Kingsense is shaping up to be a seriously deep and challenging RPG, supported by a compelling story involving apocalyptic politics, thought-provoking ideas, and a protagonist with dual personalities.
