If you don’t like the monsters you’ve ended up with when the Scout option opens up in Dragon Quest Tact, then don’t worry. You’ve got options. In fact, if you’re smart, you can reroll your picks until you’ve got the very best critters in the game. So how do you reroll? Well, it’s quite a time-consuming process. And we’ve explained exactly how to do it in this guide. Read on and you’ll discover how to game the game and start off with the best advantage you can possibly get.
To unlock the Scout option you’re going to have to get to, and complete, level 2.1 in the campaign. This will take you about half an hour, maybe a bit more. Once you’ve done it you’ll get the Scout tutorial. Play through that and then collect the 3000 gems you’ve been given.
Next, spend those 3000 gems on 10 Scout pulls. Make sure you’re spending them in the Regular SP Scout pull, where you’ll have the best chance to get S rank characters. The game will run through an animation, then show you which monsters you’ve ended up with. Check them against our tier list to see if you’ve pulled any of the best.
If you haven’t, then don’t worry, you’re not stuck with what you’ve got. Head to the main screen, then tap on the menu button in the top right hand corner. From there, tap on the button that takes you back to the title screen. Then tap on the data management button at the bottom of the screen.
The game will ask you if you’re sure. You’re sure. Now you’re going to have to go through the same process to get back to the point where you can Scout draw again. You can skip the tutorials this time round, since you already know what you’re doing.
And that’s about it. Keep repeating the steps until you end up with a team that would make the old gods quake in their boots.Â
If you spend your first 3000 gems in one of the Scout sections that has Retries Available marked in the top left corner, you can reroll for free as many times as you want. Just tap the retry button until you get some decent monsters. Don’t hit confirm until you’re happy with the selection you’ve got.
