Stealth Master is a game about sneakily slaughtering your way through a series of buildings. There are boss fights, there are bonus levels and there’s a lot you’re going to have to get to grips with before you can really consider yourself a master.

That’s why we’ve written this guide. It walks you through everything you need to make sure you’re killing with style, stealth and skill. If you’re new to the game or you’ve been playing for a bit, you’re going to find these hints, tips and cheats super useful.

The best upgrades

You should buy the stealth upgrade whenever you get the chance. This skill lets you turn into a potted plant when you’re standing still, rendering you invisible to guards and cameras alike. Honestly, it’s the most useful thing in the whole game.

When you’ve got that, start collecting the weapons that best reflect your play-style. Ranged weapons mean you don’t have to get so close to your foes to kill them, which can really help in sticky situations.

Money is key

Whenever you see money, you should grab it. Whether it’s piles on the ground in levels, or a cash boost on one of the shop levels. The more money you’ve got, the better upgrades you can buy, and the stronger you’ll become.

Obviously if you’re low on health and you’re in a shop, get some bandages first. But always consider watching a video to nab some extra cash if the option is there. You’ll be amazed how much easier things get with a full wallet.

Be patient

This isn’t the sort of game where rushing in is going to do you any good. Take your time, scope out the lay of the land and figure out the best course of action. It’s okay to hide round a corner and watch the patterns of a foe before you strike.

Remember that slain enemies can draw the attention of others. Rather than trying to run away, take a moment to hide and wait for the bad guys to come to you. You can pick them off when their backs are turned for easy kills.

Explore everywhere in bonus levels

Bonus levels are a great way to bag some more cash. There are always a bunch of golden people to find, and nabbing them all will boost your coffers. But don’t just focus on them, there are more goodies to find.

Hit the pinatas to get more gold and make sure you check every room. Even if there isn’t a person in there, there might be some bars of gold, and they’re just as useful. Look in every nook and cranny before you head for the exit.

Hostage levels

These are some of the trickiest levels in the game. Why? Because the hostages follow you around, and the bad guys can spot them easily. Your best bet here is to move into position in a corner, let the enemies see the hostages and move towards them, then swoop out and take them down when their attention is elsewhere.

Think about getting armor and ranged weapons for these levels rather than stealth or speed boosts. You’re going to be taking a lot of fire because you’re going to be trying to protect the hostages. They die easily, and you only get cash for the ones you get to the chopper.
