Upgrade Your Time And Speed

Whenever you’ve got the cash you should upgrade your time and speed. The more time you’ve got, the longer you can hide and seek, and the better your chance of winning the round.

The faster you can move, the more ground you can cover in the time that you’ve got. These upgrades count when you’re hiding and when you’re seeking, so make the most of them.

Remember What The Other Players Are

When you’re the hunter, make sure you check what the other players have transformed into. That way you’re going to have a good idea of what you’re going to need to smash to discover the impostors.

The game will point you in the general direction you need to be heading with red arrows, but when you get there it’s up to you to figure out what’s an actual object and what’s an player pretending to be an object. Knowing what the players are is definitely going to help with that.

Don’t Get Stuck

When you’re the hunter, don’t spend too much time in one location. If you haven’t found the player in your vicinity after a couple of seconds, move on to somewhere else in the level and hunt down the other transformed objects.

It’s easy to get so focused on finding one player that you end up losing a round. It’s partly due to frustration, so just let it go and move on, literally, to try and find someone else.

Learn The Levels

Whether you’re the hunter or a hider, it’s important to know what’s what in the levels. There are plenty of dead-ends that can really scupper you if you wander down them, so learn where they are and try to avoid them.

It’s all a matter of time – the more you spend jammed in a corner, the less you’ve got to hide and seek successfully. Remember everything you can about the layout and you’re always going to be a step ahead.

Hide Smart

If you’re a toilet, don’t post up in the middle of a living room and get upset when you get spotted straight away. There are usually places for every object to blend in, so try and use them.

Don’t hide too close to other players, either. That makes it a bit too simple for the hunter to grab you in a quick sweep. If you’re lucky, sometimes you can be far enough away that the hunter doesn’t have a chance to get to you before their time runs out.
