Let’s Jump is a simple one-digit jumper that tasks you with getting from the start of an obstacle-filled course to the end. Along the way you’ll pick up new leapers, and the more you cross the line with the higher your multiplier.
It’s a simple premise, but there are some tricksy sections that are going to scupper your progress if you don’t know what to do. Which is why we’ve written this guide – to ensure that you know what to do at all times. You’re welcome.
Already played the game? Got some helpful suggestions of your own? Well we’d love to hear them, so make sure you stick them in the comments section at the bottom of the article. Before that, though, here’s our guide to everything you need to know to leap to victory in Let’s Jump.
Use The Edge
If you fall off the edge of the level it’s game over, but that doesn’t mean you can’t use it to your advantage. The game doesn’t end when you cross over the line and if you’re quick you can swipe back onto the path and avoiding a disastrous tumble.
This is a great trick to avoid swinging obstacles, and to quickly dodge out of the way of any bouncing balls heading in your direction. It gives you more space to play with, you’re just going to have to be quick with your swipes to make the most out of it.
Watch Out For Red Jumpers
Red jumpers might look just like the blue jumpers you’re trying to connect, but they’re actually going to hit you and take out some of your crew if you’re not careful.
They’ll jump towards you along the track, much like the bouncing balls. They’re pretty easy to avoid, but the first time you see one you’re going to be tempted to add it to your gang. Don’t do that, and keep an eye out for them in the future.
Move With The Obstacles
You need to learn to move with the obstacles if you want to succeed. Timing your movements is key, but when you’ve nailed it it’s going to become second nature.
Think of it this way – if you’re moving at the same pace as the obstacles, then the gap you’re aiming for essentially remains stationary. This is a great mindset to get into, and will serve you well when you’ve negotiating your way through the traps the game sets for you.
Keep An Eye Out For Moving Platforms
Moving platforms are usually square and much thinner than the rest of the level. They won’t move until you get close to them, but if you’ve spotted one you’re in a much better position to deal with it.
The platforms quite often come in bunches, so make sure you’re ready to re-direct your leaps when they start to change. They’re probably the trickiest obstacles in the game, so once you’ve got to grips with them you’re in a good position to win.
