When you see a match it can be tempting to wham a card down and move on. But that could well leave you in a sticky situation for the next job you need to complete. Look at the cards in your hand and the cards on the board and think about how they connect.
Sure, this job might involve matching three cards of the same suit, but if the next one is matching consecutive cards of different suits and you clear an easy connection it’s going to take a bunch of moves to get back into that position.
When you clear a row or column on the board, the cards at the top of the screen are going to shift down. Keep checking what they are and how it’s going to change the board when they appear.
It’s all well and good setting yourself up for a job-finishing match, but if the new cards falling in are going to ruin it then you’re going to be in trouble. Play smart and always anticipate what’s coming up next.
Whenever you get the chance to upgrade, you should take it. The game will let you know when you’ve got enough currency to give yourself a boost. We’d recommend buying the three-of-a-kind upgrade as soon as you can.
This lets you complete jobs by matching three cards of the same denomination. It gives you an extra option when things are getting tougher and can often save you from an early end.
It doesn’t matter how many lives you’ve got left, if you fill the board it’s game over. Even if you can’t complete your current job, look for a way to make some space so you can complete the next one.
