Making big matches gives you special powers you can unleash. You want to make sure you’re making the most out of them and clearing as many icons as you can every time you use them.
If a power-up is on the edge of the board, move it towards the center to use it. If there are items you need to clear, try and get as many of them as you can. Once you’re comfortable with how to use your power-ups, you’re going to do a lot better.
Every Pop you unlock is going to have a different special move. These can really change the way a game is going. You need to know what they do, and how they suit the way you play and the goals you’re trying to achieve.
Experiment with the different Pops, keep an eye out for extra bonuses for using specific characters and find what works for you. A personal favorite is Marty McFly, whose special move gives you more time.
You can spend your coins to gain more hearts, but it’s a much better idea to watch a video to fill them back up. That’s because your coins also buy you new characters and they can be much more useful.
Your lives also regenerate over time, so it’s okay to put the game down for a while and wait to gain some more. The more coins you spend on Pops, the more coins you’re likely to make.
Collecting stickers will upgrade your Pops, so if you can grab one it’s a really good idea. The more powerful your characters, the more points you’re going to get. And we all know that points mean prizes.
You’ll need different stickers for each different character, and they’ll only appear when you’re playing as that character. It’s worth swapping your Pops around to make sure they’re all as powerful as they can be.
