It’s tempting to just keep swiping around the screen to try and kill everything. That’s just not going to work though. You need to lift up your finger to reload your gun so you can get back to shooting.
Different guns have different chamber sizes, so make sure you know how many bullets your weapon can hold and change the way you’re going to play accordingly.
You need to keep an eye out for the exclamation points. These show you where your foes are about to shoot you from. You’ve only got a small amount of health, so you want to avoid getting shot as often as possible.
When you lift your finger off the screen you’ll dive under cover if there is any nearby. The exclamation points will disappear a split second before the criminal shoots, so you’re going to have a moment to react.
You need to upgrade your skills and your weapon if you want to get through the tougher levels. Focus on getting the best gun first, as it’s definitely going to help you out in the early stages.
Once you’ve got that, it’s time to spend on upgrading your character. Look at the different stats and figure out which ones are going to help you out the most.
You’ll get more gold for shooting various items around the levels. Look out for red bottles and golden horseshoes and make sure you take them out whenever you can.
There are also explosive barrels, which will take out multiple enemies with a single shot. Pay attention to the environment and you’ll find all sorts of different ways you can get a boost.
