Every day you’ll get new missions to complete. Doing this will get you big piles of coins, so it’s a great way to increase your cash reserves. They refresh every 24 hours, and you can check what they are from the main screen of the game.
You won’t get a notification when you’ve completed them, so keep checking back to see how you’re doing and if you’ve got coins waiting for you. The more coins you have, the more you can buy in the shop.
When the shop opens up, you’ll want to spend as much money as you can. It doesn’t happen very often, and completing your collection of outfits and bullets depends on using your purchasing power wisely.
There are items you can unlock by watching videos as well. Again it’s a good idea to grab these as you might not get another chance. Tripling up your coin haul from levels with more than three assailants by watching videos will also ensure you’ve got money to spend when you need it.
Sometimes you’ll be offered the chance to take down special targets for bigger rewards. You’ll have to watch a video to take on these tasks, but it’s well worth doing. These are also often the most interesting levels in the game as well.
Afterwards it’s a good idea to triple up your winnings. Often you’ll have to kill not just the specified target but a decent number of regular assailants too. Triple up here and you’ll definitely see your coffers filling up quickly.
Bosses are bigger enemies that run towards you. You need to take them out before they reach you. There are yellow targets on their bodies and if you hit these you’re going to do some massive damage.
There are special bullets that do more damage to bosses, so if you’re having trouble finishing off a massive enemy it’s worth equipping one of these. Killing a boss will move you on to the next set of levels.
If you’re having trouble with a level, don’t get too disheartened. From the main menu of the game you’ve got the option to watch a video to use the golden gun. This will automatically finish a level for you.
Often using the golden gun is one of your daily missions too, so you’ll be killing two enemies with one bullet.
