A lot of the levels just require a bit of common sense. Can’t see where you need to plug your phone in? Then you’re gonna need to clear what’s in the way. Take your time to take in the obstacles that you need to overcome, and think about the smartest way to do it.
More often than not you’re going to get to the solution with a quick think. There’s no time limit here, so you don’t need to rush and make a mistake. And if you do mess up, don’t be afraid to reset the level and have another go.
Rats will chew any cable that crossed their cone of vision. This cone, which is represented in red, moves with the rat. There are a number of ways around the problem, depending on what level you’re playing.
Sometimes you’ll need to wrap a charging cable around some pillars. Other times you’re going to have to lure the rat away with cheese or toast. Look closely at what the level has given you and make sure the rat isn’t going to gnaw at a cable before you plug it in.
Another item you’re going to find in certain levels are solar panels. These need light shining on them. Sometimes you’re going to have to redirect that light with mirrors, which will also need plugging in.
Light moves in straight lines, so you need to make sure you’re getting your angles right when you’re shining a torch. There’s a top tip coming up that’s going to really help you on some of the trickier light levels too.
When a moving item has gotten to where you need it to go, you can unplug it. This will stop it dead in its tracks. This is especially helpful in levels where you’re bouncing light from one place to another.
Remember that sometimes you’ll need to leave objects plugged in, for example with fans to keep them spinning. With others though, whipping out the plug will definitely help you get to the solution you’re looking for.
