It’s been a really great week for new mobile releases. We’ve got a card game from the developers of League of Legends, a new game from one of the best mobile studios and more. And we’ve rounded up the very best new releases in one handy place.

We’ve stuck in download links and trailers as well. Not only are you just a click away from getting an awesome new game on your phone, you can also check out exactly what you can expect when you download it.

If you’ve spotted a game that you think should be included on this list then do let us know about it in the comments section at the bottom of the article. Before that though, let’s get on with our picks of the best new mobile games this week.

Levelhead – Platform Maker

The latest game from Butterscotch Shenanigans, the developer behind Crashlands. This one is a platformer, but it’s got a twist. There’s a focus on creating your own levels, with a comprehensive level builder giving you all the tools you need.

It looks absolutely wonderful and thanks to a soft launch there’s already a massive community in place. If you’re looking for a creative outlet, then you’re in luck. It might be a premium release, but Levelhead is worth every cent.

Legends of Runeterra

It might not be League of Legends on mobile, but this super-polished card game is still well worth checking out. It’s all about building up powerful decks and taking on opponents in multiplayer battles. There are plenty of fresh ideas here that keep things super interesting.

Fans of Hearthstone are definitely going to love this, but even if you weren’t impressed with Blizzard’s TCG, there’s a lot here to like. Spells, units and soldiers are all at your disposal, and using them at the right time can change the flow of battles. This is a wonderful multiplayer game that plays brilliantly on your phone.

Kingdom Two Crowns

A gorgeous side-scrolling strategy game that sees you trying to build your kingdom. You play a monarch on a steed, and it’s up to you to get money, share it with your subjects and much, much more. It’s a strategy game, but not as you know it.

Even if you’ve played the first Kingdom game, you’re going to find a lot more to do here. For one thing there’s coop play, letting you team up with another monarch, and loads of interesting content from spooky lands to Japanese-inspired settings. It’s not the cheapest game in the list, but it’s definitely worth picking up.

Food Gang

Something a little different for the final pick. This one is a simple multiplayer shooter that sees you playing as chunks of food. You’re leaping around, blasting and smashing away and you’re going to be doing it with a big smile on your face.

The game has a charming cartoon look and there’s always a scrap waiting for you when you log in. The more you play, the more characters and weapons you’ll unlock. If you don’t have much time on your hands, then Food Gang is a great way to get some small slices of gaming in.
