Shadowgun War Games Heroes List

Heroes Explained

Slade

“A retired Federation Marine and a renowned Shadowgun, his wits and combat abilities make him a force to be reckoned with in War Games.”

  • Grenade: Throw a grenade that damages enemies upon explosion
  • Medkit: Inject yourself with painkillers, recovering a small amount of health

Slade is a balanced hero that’s good for beginners. He’s got decent speed but relatively low health and range, so will need to get up close to his enemies but try and get the jump on them. His Grenade ability is great at softening up groups and his Medkit can keep him alive in a bind.

Revenant

“A member of an enslaved alien race. This resilient cyborg full of rage and regret is now one of the most terrifying contestants War Games has to offer.”

  • Roar: Slow and disorient players in a 90 degree arc in front of you
  • Inner Rage: Increase your movement speed and reduce damage dealt and received

Revenant is your tank hero, capable of soaking up enormous amounts of damage with his insanely high health bar. His speed and range aren’t the best though, so you will have to get up lose and personal. His Roar ability can disorient opponents while his Inner Rage allows him to soak up even more damage and move faster.

SARA

“Short for Sentient Android Registered Assistant. Equipped with a rocket launcher and powerful support abilities, SARA always has her teammates’ backs.”

  • Healing Blast: Throw a grenade that heals allies upon detonation
  • Protection Dome: Deploy a protective dome, absorbing enemy fire

SARA is a support specialist, capable of healing her teammates and surrounding them with a protective dome. Her statistics aren’t that bad either, with solid speed and decent range. Her health isn’t the best, but she can get out of trouble quickly and stay at a distance to mitigate that. Pick SARA is you’d rather support your team than go running and gunning.

Jet

“Even though he’s not the strongest, Jet relies on his speed and quick thinking to outsmart his opponents instead of attacking them head-on.”

  • Time Rift: Transport into an alternate timeline where no one can harm you
  • Blink: Teleport a short distance in the direction you are looking

If you’re the sort of player that likes to move swiftly around the arena wreaking havoc without being seen, Jet is the player for you. His health and range might be obscenely low, but he more than makes up for it with his nippy movement speed and mobility skills. You can use Time Rift to get out of trouble and Blink to close the gap between you and an unsuspecting opposing player.

Willow

“Willow went to hell and back to become one of the galaxy’s top snipers. If she’s your opponent, you’ll probably be dead before you even see her…”

  • Supercharge: Charge your bullets with energy, causing extra damage for a short duration
  • Flash Mine: Deploy a mine that will blind any enemy that steps on it

Willow might be a tricky character to play, but she’s well worth mastering. She has unrivalled range, allowing you to kill off enemies from the safety of distance. If anyone does get close though, you can use Flash Mine to temporarily blind them, allowing you to finish them off with ease. Lastly, Supercharge is will make short work of groups, allowing you to dish insane damage for a short duration.
