Mario Kart Tour Ice Tour Challenges List

Tour Challenges 2

  • Get 1st place 3 times in a row in races 100cc or above: Play on 100cc and choose a short course, like Ghost Valley or Frappe Snopwland and just keep repeating it until you win three times in a row.
  • Land 10 hits with Bananas: You can perform this challenge over numerous courses. Play as one of the following racers with a glider that has the Banana Plus Special Skill:
    • Morton
    • Donkey Kong
    • Diddy Kong
    • Waluigi (Bus Driver)
  • Do a total of 3 Slipstream boosts: You can perform this challenge over numerous courses. Get close behind another racer until you see airflows on either side of your character. Remain in this position and you’ll perform a Slipstream boost. Do this three times to beat the challenge.
  • Land 3 hits with Bob-ombs in a single race: Play as one of the following drivers with a glider that has the Bob-omb Plus Special Skill:
    • Shy Guy
    • Roy
    • Waluigi
    • Mario (Musician)
    • Mario (Happi)
    • King Boo (Luigi’s Mansion)
  • Cause opponents to crash 5 times in a single race using a driver with a hat: Use an item against an opponent to cause them to crash. Drivers with hats include:
    • Baby Mario
    • Baby Luigi
    • Mario
    • Luigi
    • Diddy Kong
    • Wario
    • Waluigi
    • Red Koopa (Freerunning)

    • Shy Guy (Pastry Chef)
    • Waluigi (Bus Driver)
    • Gold Koopa (Freerunning)
  • Earn a score of 8,000 or higher on a T course: T courses are courses with the letter T after them, and are typically full of stunts to perform. So getting a score of 8,000 shouldn’t be too tricky, provided you aim to get first place and play with a driver, kart, and glider combo on their favoured course.
  • Earn a total score of 25,000 or higher in the Pauline Cup: Play as drivers, karts, and gliders on their favoured courses and aim to win every single race. Pull off lengthy combos by performing all tricks you can, using items on opponents, and picking up coins.
  • Cause opponents to crash using a Mega Mushroom: We found that you’re almost guaranteed to get a Mega Mushroom if you use an Item Ticket right at the start of a race. If that doesn’t work, sit back during a race and keep trying to get the item from item boxes while using a glider with Mega Mushroom Plus.
  • Clear all of the cups in the Ice Tour: Complete every single race and challenge in the Ice Tour to beat this challenge. You don’t have to get five stars in every single race and challenge, just get to the finish line.

Tour Challenges 1

  • Land 3 hits with Green Shells: You can perform this over numerous races. Use a driver with the Triple Green Shells Special Skill and a glider with Green Shell Plus.
  • Collect a total 100 coins: You can perform this over numerous races. Use a driver with the Coin Box Special Skill and a glider with Coin Plus.
  • Do 150 Mini-Turbo boosts: You can perform this over numerous races. To pull off a Mini-Turbo boost, tap and hold to drift until you see sparks appear under your kart, then release.
  • Take out 5 Sidesteppers: You can perform this over numerous races. Sidesteppers are crabs. You’ll find them on Koopa Troopa Beach and Cheep Cheep Lagoon.
  • Land 30 hits with Bananas using a driver wearing a tie: This can be performed over numerous races. Drivers with ties include Mario (Musician), Donkey Kong, and Waluigi (Bus Driver). Donkey Kong and Waluigi (Bus Driver) both have banana-based Special Skills, so they’re the best options. Use a glider with the Banana Plus special skill.
  • Earn a total score of 20,000 or higher in the Rosalina Cup: To complete this challenge, you need to ensure that your cumulative score from the three races in the Rosalina Cup exceed 20,000. That involves getting around 7,000 score in each of them, which should be very doable.
  • Get 1st place in a 150cc or higher race 3 times in a row: Play a short track Ghost Valley repeatedly until you win three times in a row. Make sure you’re on 150cc mode.
  • Cause opponents to crash 5 times while underwater: Koopa Troopa Beach and Cheep Cheep Lagoon both have underwater sections. To cause an opponent to crash, simply use an item against them.
  • Pass through 10 rings created by a Dash Ring item: This can be performed over numerous races. Play as one of the following drivers and pass through their Dash Rings as often as possible:
    • Ludwig
    • Rosalina
    • Rosalina (Halloween)
    • Peach (Wintertime)

Gold Challenges

  • Get 1st place in a 200cc or higher race: Play in 200cc mode until you get first place. Ideally, play on a smaller track like Ghost Valley to make this much faster.
  • Do 10 Ultra Mini-Turbo boosts: You can perform this over numerous races. To perform an Ultra Mini-Turbo boost, hold to drift until you see purple sparks and release.
  • Take out 10 snowpeople: Snowpeople are what we used to call snowmen, before we realised that people made of snow don’t really have a gender. To take them out, simply drive into them or use an item against them.
  • Get a combo count of x10 or higher: String together at least 10 actions in quick succession to score a x10 combo.
  • Earn a score of 10,000 or higher using a driver with a mustache: Play with one of the following drivers on their favoured courses and aim to win to maximise your score:
    • Mario
    • Luigi
    • Waluigi
    • Metal Mario
    • Mario (Musician)
    • Mario (Hakama)
    • Mario (Santa)
    • Mario (Happi)
    • Penguin Luigi
    • Ice Mario
    • Waluigi (Bus Driver)
  • Cause an opponent to crash while gliding: Use an item like a Red Shell while gliding to case your opponent to crash.
  • Earn a score of 10,000 or higher on a T course: A T course features opportunities to perform huge combos of tricks, so this shouldn’t be too difficult. Aim to win and play with a driver, glider, and kart on their favoured course to maximise your score.
  • Cause opponents to crash 10 times in Frenzy mode: This can be performed over numerous races. Frenzy mode is when you get three of the same items, which requires you to use a driver on its favoured course. Use a driver with a Special Skill that allows you to attack other players.
  • Finish a race by crashing over the finish line: As you approach the finish line in a race, ensure you have no defensive items equipped and drift away from the line to slow you down. Hopefully someone will hit you with an item.
