BitLife just got a massive drama-filled update that promises to overhaul office life. Now, the text-based life simulator should provide a more realistic interpretation of what goes on in an office, with workplace dramas rife. You’ll encounter unprofessionalism, annoyance, investigations, grievances, and more in this juicy update.

In this guide, we’re going to detail everything that’s new in the latest update so you can make the most of it. If it’s something else you’re looking for, make sure to check out our Complete Guide to BitLife, which includes links to everything we’ve written about the awesome game so far.

BitLife Office Update – Everything That’s New:

Job and Military Life Overhaul

Life as an office worker or in the military have both been completely overhauled in the latest BitLife update, with hundreds of new workplace scenarios to encounter. Given that you spend most of your time at work in both life and BitLife, this is arguably one of the most exciting updates yet.

Hundreds of Workplace Scenarios

You’ll encounter annoying co-workers, unprofessional supervisors, hostile work environments, inappropriate behaviour, HR investigations, reprimands and grievances, office love, and many more new scenarios thanks to the latest update. It should provide plenty of juicy gossip for those that like that sort of thing.

Report Troublesome Colleagues to HR

Your colleagues and supervisors should now appear in your relationships tab, which makes sense given how much time you end up spending with them during your BitLife. If they end up annoying you, for whatever reason, you can report them to HR, which could trigger a full on investigation.

This can work in reverse though, as you can end up being reported yourself if you’re the troublesome. You might want to reconsider how you treat your digital co-workers now that this latest update has hit.

Ask to Keep Your Job After Being Fired

Now, when you get fired in BitLife you can contact your supervisor and beg to keep your job. It might not ever work, but the option is there. With that in mind, it might be worth trying to be a little nicer to your supervisor from now on, in case the worst happens.

Renovate Your Houses

This isn’t really related to the office update, but it seems that you can now renovate your house, giving you a new method of spending your hard-earned cash. That’s a nifty feature that makes BitLife feel all too real.

Properties Now Have Street Addresses

Properties now have street addresses, which might change something somehow? I guess, at the very least, you can show off if you live on an affluent street. Does it still count as something you can show off if it’s in a game? Well, I guess we’ll find out.

New Processes For Selling Real Estate, Cars, and Heirlooms

There are new processes in place for selling your valuables, including real estate, cars, and heirlooms. We’re not sure exactly what the new process is, because developer Candywriter hasn’t gone into details but we’d expect the update to make it a lot more realistic.

The Rest

Here’s the less interesting bits that BitLife has included in the latest update:

  • Asset interface reorganization
  • A slew of subtle improvements across the game
  • Tons of bug fixes and textual content refinements
