Elune Beginner’s Guide: Tips, Cheats, and Strategies

Elune is the latest gacha RPG to hit the mobile app stores and not an awful lot has changed. Suffice to say, if you’ve played one before you’ll know exactly what you’re getting yourself into here. However, there are a few notable differences that you might not recognise from its competitors.

Also, there are plenty of mobile gamers out there that haven’t played a gacha RPG before. If that’s you, then this is the perfect place to start as we’ll outline the experience and help you get the most out of it with a bunch of tips, cheats, and strategies.

Elune Beginner’s Guide – How it Works:

Elune works just like any other gacha RPG. You summon a bunch of heroes, place them into a formation, and head out into numerous different battles. As you progress, your formation and selection of heroes will likely change as you unlock more powerful options.

While we can’t help you with a solid team composition – the game’s just launched and it will take some time to learn the best heroes and formations – a good rule of thumb is to select your heroes that have the highest number of stars and make a team out of them. If that means four tanks and one attacker, so be it.

We also recommend heading into their inventories and equipping them with any gear that you have lying around. You’ll collect a ton of it while battling through the various different levels and they’ll provide a boost in statistics. Every little helps.

The absolute best way to grow in power in game like this is to continuously summon new heroes though, so get on that as soon as possible. Get your login bonuses, complete missions, participate in events, and add and interact with friends to get as much summoning currency as possible.

We recommend saving it up until you can do 10 pulls in one summon, as you’ll typically get one free pull using this method. That’s true for Premium Summon, at least. Once you’ve summoned heroes, go back and check your party to see if you can make any improvements.

Elune Tips and Tricks:

Now that you understand the basics, we’ve got a bunch of tips and tricks to help you make the most of your experience:

• Select a formation around your most powerful heroes: You might be tempted to select your favourite formation and place whatever heroes will fit in it, but that’s not the best way to go about Elune during the beginning. Instead, you want to pick your most powerful heroes and build a formation around them. That’s the way to do it.
• Equip your heroes with gear: As you complete levels you’ll pick up a wide variety of gear that you can equip on your heroes for a variety of statistical bonuses. We recommend always equipping heroes that you regularly use with them to give them a nice boost.
• Summon 10 at once where possible: You can summon 10 times and receive bonuses for certain types of summons. We recommend always saving up for these where possible as you’ll get more bang for your buck.
• Focus on completing missions: Missions reward you with key items that you’ll need to summon new heroes. Given that’s the entire point of playing Elune, we recommend prioritising getting these items as often as possible.
• Check back in for free regular rewards: You get rewards just for logging in and playing so make sure to play enough each day to get them. There’s also the occasional event, which is worth participating in for other free rewards.
