Shop Titans is a brand new fantasy store management simulator by Kabam that turns the usual RPG tropes on their head. Rather than play the beefy warrior or clever mage you run the shop that sells them their gear. After all, the person who ensures the heroes are well equipped enough to get their hero on is a bit of a hero themselves, right? You bet your bottom dollar they are.

We’ve covered many features of the game in our Shop Titans Beginner’s Guide, so if you’re just getting started with it we recommend reading that first. In this guide, we’re going to take a look at the Prestige system, which basically rewards you with a leaderboard ranking for having a pretty store. Let’s take a look at how it all works.

Shop Titans – What is Prestige?

Prestige is a statistic in Shop Titans that is determined by how many decorations you have on your property. It has no gameplay effect but there’s a special Prestige leaderboard that you can climb.

You can check your current Prestige score by visiting the main menu and tapping Personal Stats. Prestige is the score second from the top on the right. You can also check how much Prestige a certain decoration will grant you when purchased and placed. It shouldn’t come as a huge surprise to learn that the most expensive decorations provide the most Prestige.

If you’re serious about topping the Prestige leaderboard, prepare to spend an awful lot of in-game and real world cash. It’ll also require an awful lot of patience and is probably best saved for the late game, when your store has the space to place decorations.

What’s the Point in Prestige if I Don’t Care About Leaderboards?

That’s an excellent question with an easy answer: there isn’t as much of a point. Prestige is primarily there to give players who spend a lot of money on the game a statistical reward. However, that’s not to say that purchasing decorations is completely pointless for those of us that couldn’t care less about leaderboards.

While Prestige in of itself doesn’t provide any gameplay benefits, decorations do. When placed, a customer has a small chance to interact with the decoration, and they’ll reward you with energy if they do.

So while we wouldn’t recommend going crazy with the decorations – you’re better off spending your money on upgrades and investments if you want to progress in the game – placing a bunch of cheap decorations could provide you with a steady stream of free energy for a small cost.
