Flip Dunk is a super fun new puzzler that does what it says on the tin. You have to tap and hold to jump and flip while in the air and slam dunk a basket.

Timing and coordination are key here, as you have to ensure that you land straight enough to pull off the flip and dunk the ball.

Each level has three different tiers of rewards, from bronze to gold. Earning these requires you to pull off a certain number of flips.

In this guide, we’re going to provide you with a bunch of tips and tricks to help you ace the dunk every single time. We wish you luck.

Flip Dunk Tips and Tricks:

  • You have to land on your feet: When pulling off flips, remember that you have to land on your feet. This is particularly true when bouncing between platforms like trampolines, as you’ll just fail the level if you don’t. It’s less important when dunking as you can grab the hoop to steady yourself.
  • The most difficult part is lining up the dunk: So long as you’re almost vertical, you should be able to land on your feet most of the time, but lining up the dunk is less forgiving. We found it easier to remain tucked right up until the point that your character is almost touching the hoop, then let go and she should grab it.
  • You usually can’t do more flips than the gold allows: While it’s frustrating that you can’t see the gold requirements at the beginning of the level, you have to bear in mind that you can’t really flip more times than the gold – or whatever the maximum reward is for that level’s – requirement.
  • Stop flipping when you’re almost vertical and let gravity take care of the rest: While flipping, you might be inclined to stop when you’re vertical. This is a bad idea, as physics will keep the momentum you’ve generated going and you’ll continue to spin. This can mess up the landing, so try and stop just before to land perfectly vertical.
  • Don’t push your luck: There’s no point trying to pull off that last minute flip, because chances are you’ll just end up failing. Trust your instincts. If you feel like that extra flip isn’t possible, don’t even bother trying. It’ll save you a bunch of time.
