DeNA and The Pokémon Company are working on a brand new mobile Pokémon game, according to details in DeNA’s recent financial report.
We don’t know any more about the game other than that but if we had to guess, we’d go with a gacha RPG in a similar vein to Dragalia Lost.
However, it could just as easily be a port of an earlier Pokémon game – perhaps even one of the recent Switch releases. We’ll just have to wait and see.
The Pokémon Company has already released several Pokémon games on mobile, including Pokémon GO, Pokémon Shuffle, Pokémon Trading Card Game, Pokémon Quest, Pokémon Duel, and Pokémon Magikarp Jump.
DeNA, meanwhile, has worked alongside Nintendo on Super Mario Run, Fire Emblem Heroes, and Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp, and is currently working on Mario Kart Tour.
