Gamezebo was at GDC 2019, catching up with our favourite mobile games developers. We found the time to meet Astragon, the developer behind the hit Construction Simulator titles.

Astragon has many exciting plans for 2019 but, sadly, we can’t talk about any of them. We will say that you’ll learn about one imminently – and it’s a huge release – while the other probably won’t launch until later in the year or perhaps even next.

If you haven’t heard of Astragon before, these are the guys behind a bunch of simulator games. The most recent of these are Construction Simulator 2, Bus Simulator 18, and Fishing: Barents Sea.

Astragon is the developer behind Bus Simulator 18 and Construction Simulator 2

Construction Simulator 2 challenges you to build your own construction company, driving 40 fully licensed construction vehicles from manufacturers like Caterpillar and Mack Trucks.

Bus Simulator 18 is the same thing, just for buses. You’ll ride a bunch of buses around a variety of cities, ensuring your passengers are comfortable and arrive at their destinations safely. There’s a multiplayer mode too, which is cool.

Finally, Fishing: Barents Sea has you exploring the Norwegian sea for the best fishing spots. You’ll collect a series of bigger boats as you earn more money, and you can upgrade your boats to improve their statistics. It’s a little bit more than just a simulator, this one.

Astragon is working on some exciting new releases

You can grab Astragon’s selection of mobile games on the App Store right now. Stay tuned to Gamezebo for news of future releases.
