Anyone who has had the pleasure of playing My Tamagotchi Forever knows about the challenge of raising a Tamagotchi into certain evolutions. Well, this update hasn’t changed how evolutions take place, but it has made it easier to keep your Tamas well fed.

Birthday Cake

As part of the anniversary celebrations for My Tamagotchi Forever, there is a free cake for your pets to eat at your kitchen table. This cake infinitely spawns, for now, so you can feed your pets for free and receive a massive XP boost while doing so.

Feeding your pets this cake does not interfere with how they evolve. If you are unaware, to evolve into certain Tamagotchi’s, you need to feed them certain food items. These food items start off simple, like sweets, fruit or vegetables. But as you get higher up on the evolution chart, they get more complex and require combinations, like fish and sweets.

2048 Arcade Game

It’s been a while since there was a new arcade game to play in My Tamagotchi Forever. You need to play games to entertain your Tamagotchi and earn coins for food or upgrades in your house or Tama town. So how does this game compare to the others in terms of earning coins?

To put it bluntly, it’s not worth your time if you aren’t good at 2048. I say this because you only get a certain number of attempts before your Tamagotchi gets tired and needs to sleep. This means you want to stack as many coins as you can in a short time period. Playing a new arcade game is always entertaining, and if you follow the tips below you should increase your coin yield.

2048 Tips

  • Simple moves. If you can combine two tiles in one move, then you have made a good decision. Any moves you make where you don’t combine at least two tiles are a wasted move. This is because a new tile spawns every single turn, so if you do not combine then you are falling behind.
  • Look at the colours! These tiles are colour coded to spare you from having to do any mathematics. Instead of thinking which numbers add together, look at the colour of each tile. Match white tiles together and avoid moving the same colours away from each other.
  • Move into space. Unless you make several bad moves in a row, there should always be several empty tiles to move into. This means you should move into them. As you move back to where you were, you should have made several combinations that should seamlessly flow together.
  • Play for fun, not for profit. As I mentioned above, there are plenty of other arcade games that offer better value. Meaning you spend less time playing but make more coins doing so. Take your time, think about the move you will make and try to have as long a go as possible.
