We all love a good update, and it’s about time Star Trek Fleet Command brought us something new to grind for. Any regular player of Star Trek Fleet Command will know there is no shortage of things to do. But with new ships blasting onto our devices and some officers too, there has never been a better time to start farming.

New ships

This recent update saw the introduction of a few new ships, these ships aren’t just for you to build and add to the collection. Some of these ships will now be cruising around the galaxy begging for you to attack them.

The new ships include:

  • D3 Class: The D3 is an Interceptor which is especially effective against Battleships. It is rated Uncommon and has a base strength of 39k.
  • Bortas: The Bortas is also an uncommon ship but it has a base strength of 71k. It is a Battleship that is effective against Explorers.
  • B’Rel: The B’Rel is a rare Explorer ship, which is effective against Interceptors. It has a base Strength of 90k and only requires 20 more blueprints than the Bortas.
  • D4 Class: The most powerful ship of the bunch with a base strength of 97k. It is rated as an Epic ship and is also an interceptor, making it effective against Battleships. It requires the most blueprints of the lot, which is a whopping 150.

New Officers

There are three new officers to try and get your hands on, some of which are more famous than others. I say this because at least one of these characters was the main antagonist in Star Trek into Darkness. Plus, another one of these characters is directly related to a member of the iconic Enterprise crew.

The new officers are:

  • John Harrison: Also know as Khan.
  • Yuki Sulu: Sister of Hikaru Sulu.
  • Paul Zhou: Starfleet officer assigned to Deep Space 9.

Khan (John Harrison) is the most interesting addition to the Star Trek Fleet Command universe for several reasons. But the most important reason is he will be higher rated than the others. This means he will probably be an “Ultra Recruit”, in other words, hard to get.

The other two new recruits sound pretty standard in terms of their involvement in the Star Trek universe. It’s fair to assume that Zhou will be a Standard Recruit and Yuki might be a Premium.

Anyway, that’s all we know about the recent update. Any more changes to Star Trek Fleet Command and you will be the first to know!
