Now that Valentine’s Day is finally behind us, we can look forward to new content that isn’t love themed. One of the first updates to pop-up after the romantic period was Marvel Strike Force. This February update brings not just patches to our devices, but two new characters to kick-ass with.

Captain Marvel

The highly anticipated Captain Marvel movie is arriving on the big screen around the 8th of March. What’s a better way to generate hype for your latest movie then letting us get our hands on Captain Marvel in Marvel Strike Force. You can see the method behind Foxnet’s madness as they regularly move planned updates around to coincide with movie premiers.

So, how do we get Captain Marvel into our roster? Well, at the moment it’s not clear, Foxnet could follow recent trends and introduce a Blitz. The recent trend of characters having their own premium orbs would show a new formula for introducing characters. If we cast our mind back to Carnage, there were multiple ways to get him but most of them are expensive or rely on blind luck.

Unless you are willing to spend big, and by big, I mean $50 to guarantee you get Captain Marvel. If I were you, I wouldn’t worry about her yet.

Minn-Evra

Minn-Evra is the answer to the age old question, who is a good Villain Healer? This doesn’t mean she is tight cast to just the villain squad, with her Genetic Reconstruction power maxed out to level seven she can revive a dead ally with 40% max health and apply two Deathproof. To put this in simple terms, she can bring people back from the dead at the push of a button.

Minn-Evra, unlike Captain Marvel, is available if you have a stockpile of Power Cores or cash to spend. She is available in the Starforce Orb, which drops a minimum of two shards of Minn-Evra every pull. If that doesn’t take your fancy, you can purchase the Gene Genie Orb, which has the chance to drop 6-180 shards in one pull.

If buying Orbs or Power Cores isn’t appealing to you, then you can always wait until the 25th of February for Minn’s event. This event will allow you to gather Kree character shards and has three difficulties. To play the medium difficulty, you will need three cosmic characters and be above level 43. Similar restrictions apply to the hard mode, you will need five cosmic characters and be above level 58.

Keep your eyes peeled for when Captain Marvel drops. Depending on how difficult she is to get you might well see another guide from us on her.
