With the introduction to the new Resident Evil 2 event, we can expect to see a new game mode and new rewards. Both of these new features are only around for a limited time, so make the most of it before they are gone. This guide will tell you everything you need to know about unlocking the limited time event rewards.
If you haven’t yet checked out the events section in the main menu, you notice that there is a new event currency, Vaccines. Similar to the winter event with Jingle Bells, you are supposed to collect as many of the Vaccines as possible before the event closes. You can then redeem costumes, crates or items in return for the Vaccines you have collected.
If it’s the same system introduced for the winter event, then there are two ways. Complete certain challenges, like logging in every day or surviving for 50 minutes. Or the vaccines will randomly spawn across the map and pick them up as you play.
I don’t know with 100% certainty that these Vaccines are spawning in the map, so keep your eyes peeled!
There are several rewards hanging around for a couple of weeks, some items for even less time. Trading can only collect some of these items in the event currency. Other items are premium which requires you to spend real money on certain crates. I will make it clear in the list below
All the items below are available for a limited time and can only be achieved by collecting the event currency.
The items below are available inside the Resident Evil 2 Crate, which is available until March 3rd. Once you get an item from this crate, you can’t get it again, but the price increases every time.
The chance of a legendary item appearing in your first purchase of the Resident Evil 2 crate is 0.08%, so be prepared for disappointment.
