Mobile Royale: Tips, Cheats and Strategies

Mobile Royale is the new real-time strategy multiplayer game from IGG Inc, the developers of Lords Mobile and Castle Clash. You are a Lord in charge of a castle, and your goal is to gather resources, build your army, recruit powerful heroes, and invade castles and villages alike. Check out our review here!
The first thing you’ll need to do it gather a lot of resources. Food, Wood, Gold, and Stone will all be neccesary to train troops, construct buildings, conduce research, and then later upgrade them.

Tips for Beginners

Before you can start invading, it’s smart to spend a bit of time gathering your strength. Invading other players yeilds by far the most resources, but it’ll be a very tough fight if you’ve only just started. Here are some tips to help you get on your feet:

• Upgrade your Castle. Beginners are easy pickings for higher-level players, so best start upgrading your castle to raise your Might, deploy more heroes, and unlock more buildings.
• Send troops to gather resources. While you’re too weak to invade other players, it’s best to send out a lot of troops to gather everything you need. You can also use production buildings like the Farm and Quarry, but their output is fairly slow. You won’t be able to rely on them.
• Hunt monsters. These creatures are packing EXP and equipment, so defeat a lot of monsters to level up quickly and aquire good gear.
• Join a guild. Guilds allow the sending/recieving of resources, as well as some potential backup if you’re ever in a tight spot.

Heroes

There are 15 unique heroes to recruit in Mobile Royale, each with special abilities. You can put them in battle to give your legion an edge against your opponent. They are all Infantry, Cavalry, or Ranged fighters, and are effective against each other in a rock-paper-scissors formation like so: Infantry > Ranged > Cavalry.
To get a hero, you’ll need to get their Soul Stone from completing stages. That’s only half the battle, though: you need to level them up and promote them. You can do this a few ways:

• Use EXP Potions. Obtain these by completing quests and defeating monsters, then tap on you hero’s profile screen to use them. EXP Potions can also be found in random rewards.
• Get EXP from defeating monsters. This is a slower and more gradual way of levelling up, but you’ll need to get into the habit of doing this to buff up your best heroes to the max.
• Promote them! To see how to obtain your hero’s Soul Stone, tap the + icon on their profile menu. A promoted hero has boosted abilities, and also unlocks a Rune slot for that hero.
• Find Runes and assign them to heroes. Once assigned, Runes increase a specific stat. Runes can also be ‘fused’ to create an advanced Rune. Use them carefully, however. Once they’re applied, removing them will destroy them.

If you’re stuck for battle strategies, Mobile Royale has extensive tutorials and options to help you get the hang of it. You can micromanage your legion formation to the letter but if you’re unsure, take the game’s recommended party formation.
